Marriott Delta Hotel and Wellborn 2R Steakhouse Grand Opening
The City of Wichita Falls Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce celebrates the grand opening of the Delta Hotel by Marriott Conference Center and Wellborn 2R Steakhouse.
The Delta Hotel has 200 full-service rooms, a 14,725-square-foot banquet room, a conference center that is approximately 35,960 square feet and can host up to 3,000 people, there is much more to the new $48 million dollar facility. We have been working with the O'Reilly Hospitality Management (OHM) group since 2021 and are excited to see this come to fruition. It has created unprecedented jobs and an economic boost for the city of Wichita Falls. It has created a world-class lodging and dining experience unprecedented in Wichita Falls.
While the hotel and conference center are world class, we are excited to be a part of this with the Wellborn 2R Steakhouse. Tim O'Reilly, OHM CEO, wanted the dining experience to be memorable to all the hotel and conference visitors. And he wanted it to reflect the local culture, which is very much the epicenter of Texas cowboy country. A steakhouse offering premium, locally sourced steaks from a ranch nearby was the perfect fit. We are excited to be a part of this journey with the O'Reilly group.
Lots of local news crews were on hand for the grand opening. The economic boost the facility and steakhouse provide the community is exciting for the whole area.
Chef Abdiel Laboy has been an amazing member of the Wellborn 2R Steakhouse team. His creativity shines in creating the most amazing flavor combinations we have ever tasted. He loves the Wellborn 2R beef because, in his words, "its the most incredible and consistent beef I've ever had." That's saying something from a world renown chef!

Several of the Wellborn 2R Ranch cowboys were on hand to talk to guests about the ranch, the beef program and cowboy life. The wait staff in the steakhouse loved it all. They do such a good job talking about our beef.
The Wellborn 2R Steak house in the Delta Hotel by Marriott showcases the ranch's history and culture with photos, artwork and artifacts from the ranch.
The patio at the Wellborn 2R Steakhouse offers firepits and outdoor dining to enjoy on great weather days.
The seating area in the Delta Hotel by Marriott Wichita Falls lobby offers a great area to connect with family and friends. And it's even better when you bring in some appetizers and drinks from the Wellborn 2R Steakhouse.
